It's not just hi-tech that's going wireless - the Cordless Warming Tray takes just 8 minutes to heat up while plugged in (here a cord is essential) and once ready, let it loose and move to your super serving point. The warmer will keep your food at optimum temperature for up to 60 minutes. A great idea for outdoor entertainment.

See…kitchens are so hot right now, a night club in Germany has been modeled as a kitchen…and then even called the kitchen club.
It makes perfect sense to us, 'cause basically all good social interaction takes place in kitchens.
Check out their website here, found over here.

In our opinion there is nothing wierd about this gadget! It's pure brilliance.
No more having to nuke butter in the microwave to get something that is half decent to spread - The Butter Wizard controls the temperature of your butter, ensuring that its spreadable for up to 2 hours. While not in use, the unit docks in a charging station, recharging for the next big spread.

For those who can't tell the difference between fresh meat and 'well ripened' meat, this gadget is for you. The SensorFreshQ acts like Sherlock by 'sniffing' uncooked meat and works out if it's fresh or not. Hold the device a half inch above the raw meat or poultry, press the button, and wait 30 seconds for a reading.
A gadget like this may well give your friends the confidence to accept those dinner invitations you keep sending them.

Now don't laugh…or kick yourself for not thinking of this first, but number two in the top ten is this handy musical cake slicer.
It's musical in that it chimes the notes of 'Happy Birthday' as soon as it detects that it has come into contact with a cake covered with Smarties….which is kind of handy if you can't hold a note and your kid is best friends with Simon Cowell.

Lets have a look now at the now infamous PC magazine's top ten weirdest kitchen gadgets of all time.
First up on their list - is this Pepper pro automatic pepper grinder with a light. Indeed - just in case you're required to place a condensed coating of black magic spice in the dark recesses of whatever road kill you happen to be preparing.
It sells at retailers with enough of a sense of humour for $43.95 and comes with a spare bulb and peppercorns.

How cool is this little gem of an espresso machine aptly named You&Me. Yes…because it makes just enough fine caffeine for you & me to enjoy on the couch.
It's made by the guys from Ariete and would be the perfect little machine for the man-about-town bachelor…or bacherlorette for that matter.

Making a decent round of popcorn is actually quite an art and often doesn't quite match the standards of the 'movie popcorn' we've all grown to love. Over the years we've seen some popcorn making machines which haven't made the mark - forget the microwave option, its just not the same, and the 'hot air' poppers leave the important oil ingredient out of the process which leaves your popcorn tasting more like rice cakes than popcorn.
The West Bend 82306 Stir Crazy 6-Quart Popcorn Popper comes to the popcorn party by producing up to 5.5 litres of perfectly popped corn, using only one tablespoon of oil per 1/4 cup corn. The other cool thing about this popper is that the clear plastic cover turns into a bowl once the popping is done. Nice touch.

As you've probably realised…we like toasters! We've been looking for something that toasts and make coffee at the same time and the Toaster Teapot is the closest to that we've seen. Not sure how it works, but it does win the Yuppiechef 'Cool Toaster of the Week' prize.
